This is a great movie - fab script, esp the grandfather's character part. Pleeaase, folks, open your USA minds and realize that the "F-bomb" is just another every-day adjective for the working folks in the Australian culture... It's all about the art... ...

I loved this flick and have been hoping to catch it again on Sundance Channel, but haven't, so I've only seen it once, more than a year ago. It's not for everyone I suppose. What with its meandering moodiness and extended, sometimes single-shot sequences ...

Never heard of the movie before until I went on a search for all things O'Loughlin. Its a low budget movie that was filmed on location, literally on the river bank, in Australia. These are real people that are quickly likeable. Jack is a quiet guy ...

I bought Oyster Farmer because I am a fan of Alex O'Loughlin. I have all of his work on DVD now, and the man can do no wrong on film! Oyster Farmer is one of his first movies, and his portrayal of Jack Flange is absolutely delightful. This film is a ...

Any movie with Alex in it is going to be well worth watching. He has such a passion for his work that it really shows in all the parts he plays, no matter how large or small the part is. I will continue to purchase all movies he is in. ...

This movie was wonderful - alittle odd to hear Alex O'Loughlin talking in his native tongue when he didn't sound like that in Moonlight but as usual he did a super acting job in this movie. Very cute story, well written, great actors - a movie worth ...

Alex O'Loughlin plays a very good part in this movie. It is amazing how well he can play different characters. Example, Feed and Moomlight. In Oyster Farmer he plays a gentle loving brother and how he adapts to rough country living. Some of the scenes of ...

I bought this movie because of Alex O'Loughlin and found the story to be well written and well acted. Alex of course is always believable in his roles. I recommend this movie to any of Alex's ...
