This Week in DVD Releases: Feb. 10

I think we have a pattern. I think we have a pattern here. Time moves forward. Day replaces day. Week replaces week. And DVDs replace DVDs on the storefronts and web pages of retailers, distributors and, hey, even blog posts like this one. If their theatrical reception is any indicator of what their DVD release has in store, this week could be a major boon to the economy.

The most likely to reach out of stock status by the day’s end is, of course, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which, apparently, a lot of people watched multiple times, and actually, you know, liked. Political thriller Body of Lies and period piece thriller the Changeling could cause a stir, but lack the ‘tween phenomenon status to make a mark. The highly-controversial films Hounddog and Religulous, which saw limited theatrical release, will likely see less DVD distribution as well.
