Many people credit this movie's success to its fantastic actors, but this movie would have gotten nowhere without the ingenious and somewhat twisted minds of the Nolans. Evidence of this can be found in the first Batman flick, which is just as exciting and dark as TDK. I do wish they would ditch the low-tone voice of Batman, though. It's a pretty silly element to such a serious movie; but oh well, it makes for good parodies!
